This smart set features a dramatic black and white sardonyx in an unusual cut paired with a sassy triangular black druzy agate. The sculptured sardonyx is somewhat pyramidal, ranging from 7mm high at the apex to about 2mm at the lower point. The lower edge is beveled. The beveled druzy agate has a bright polished border on one edge. Sardonyx is banded agate, usually red/brown and white. Some sardonyx can be heated to turn the colored bands black, leaving the white bands unaltered. This stone has been heat-treated.
